An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. Gunlancer is a dps class just like the rest. Artillerist isn't really that ranged. I play close/mid. Very high stagger and destruction. Need good knowledge of mechanics due to attack delays. But I've played all the classes and I have the most fun playing the Artillerist. Another desired class is Gunlancer because is a good dps, tanky af, and can shield+dispell debuff the party which is the most support oriented from dps classes. Paladin has some pretty good magical explosions with a mix of light and dark magic filling the screen. I would say Blue Gunlancer, very fun - has a good build for chaos. Immortal in most content minus raid wipe mechs. Some people don't like backward dash, so you have to remember that too. I also love Scrapper (i play Shock), imho more fun than Glavier. I'm really enjoying soloing them. Hello all, I'd like to make an alt focused on trying to solo my way through all of the guardian raids as I proceed through the tiers.The class can stay at mid range and just dish out damage even if the guardian gets in your face you can just shield or use a ability with protection ruin or one of the build in shields in the damaging abilities. Seems to me like Paladin is the worst as there is only 1 paladin in the top 100. They are the most annoying class to deal with. "You don't play games to win, you play games so you can make you're opponents rage quit". Sharpshooter can do that in PvP. The Paladin class is basically a mix between a traditional fighter class and a mage class. And intense gameplay with constant repositioning, that's the best part.A Berserker in their 20's may be a top tier DPS class, but a Berserker in their 40's is mid tier. But half of lost ark player base jsut want to get bussed anyway so they don't care. There's definitely an issue with how paladins are generally perceived. No argument that it's an easy class to play, because it's straightforward but that does't necessarily make it boring.
